DENTIST VISIT Tuesday, Nov 12 - 11:30AM-12:00PM A local dentist will come to our school to teach the children about dental hygiene.
THANKFUL PICNIC Wednesday, Nov 20 - 11:15AM-12:00PM We will have a thankful picnic in celebration of our friendships and the things we are thankful for. All families are welcome to join us.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES In November, families will have the opportunity to meet with a classroom teacher about their child's growth and development. During the conference meeting, the classroom teacher will review the assessment completed in October and discuss an education action plan for your child. Families will be able to schedule a 20-minute conference. Sign up will be posted on our Shutterfly page (Under Volunteer Section)

FOOTSTEPS INTERACT CLUB (5TH-8TH GRADE) Organizing a Toy Drive for the CALTRAIN Holiday Train 2019 We are asking for donations of New unwrapped toys and books for infant-teenagers to be donated by Wed, Dec 4. The Interact Club members will go the Holiday Train celebration on Sunday, Dec 8 at the Downtown San Mateo train station.
STAFF ACHIEVEMENT Four Footsteps Directors participated in a 3-day Trainer of the Trainer event. The group will work towards becoming certified CalSAC Trainers, part of state-wide group of trainers, funded through the California Department of Education. Footsteps is part of a Mental Health Wellness Collaborative, funded by the Sand Hill Foundation, and led by the California School Age Consortium (CalSAC). The group will train out of school time staff throughout California with a focus on the Mental Health Wellness of children and youth.
